Among other things, you will visit the impressive pyramids and historic Cairo. In Luxor, the absolute highlights of ancient Egypt are on the itinerary. During the Nile cruise, you’ll explore the most important temples along the riverbanks. A visit to the impressive Abu Simbel is also included in this trip.
Your program day by day:
Day 1 – Giza
Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, a breathtaking highlight! Sleep at the foot of the piramids or choose for a resort at 3 km from the pyramids.
Day 2 – Old Cairo
Explore Old Cairo, with its labyrinth of narrow streets, historic churches, and Coptic heritage. Visit the beautiful Mohamed Ali Mosque, built in the 19th century in Ottoman style, and enjoy panoramic views over the city.
Day 3 – GEM and transfer to Luxor
Visit the famous Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, where you can see thousands of artefacts spanning the entire history of ancient Egypt, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.
In the evening, you’ll take the overnight train to Luxor, marking the start of the next chapter of your journey. If you’d prefer to fly to Luxor, that’s also an option.
Day 4 – Karnak temple in Luxor
Check in to your Nile cruise and visit the majestic Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious sites ever built. You could spend hours exploring it, and your guide will take you to the most beautiful spots.
Later, you’ll visit the small but charming Luxor Museum.
Day 5 – Luxor West Bank
Visit the legendary Valley of the Kings and the stunning Hatshepsut Temple, two of Luxor’s most unforgettable treasures.
After the visits, your Nile cruise begins!
Day 6 – Edfu
Your first stop is the beautifully preserved Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. Did you knew that the king embodied the energy of the god Horus?
Day 7 – Philae temple
Arrive in Aswan and take a small boat to the island where the Temple of Philae stands majestically. There you will find the temple dedicated to the goddess Isis.
If you love cats, you’ll be amazed at how they’ve made themselves at home in the temple.
Day 8 – Aswan's beautiful nature
Sail along the Nile on a traditional felucca, gliding silently between islands with the wind guiding your small boat. On one of the islands, visit the Botanical Garden, an oasis in the midst of the Nile
Day 9 – Aswan
Visit the Unfinished Obelisk and discover the story behind it.
Afterwards, visit the Nubian Museum, where you can learn about traditional crafts and the Nubian culture.
Day 10 – Kom Ombo
Visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, famous for its symmetrical design and dedicated to two gods: the crocodile‑headed Sobek and the falcon‑headed Horus.
Visit the nearby crocodile museum to see mummified crocodiles and discover there role in ancient Egypt's believe.
Day 11 – Luxor
Relax on your final trip on the cruise to Luxor. Enjoy the landscape and the atmosphere on board. In the early evening, you’ll explore Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated.
Day 12 – Medinet Habu and transfer to Hurghada
Visit the impressive Medinet Habu Temple, then travel to Hurghada for your Red Sea stay.
Day 13 – Enjoy Hurghada
Spend the day at the Red Sea, choosing a snorkeling excursion or excursion by boat to nearby coral reefs and explore the underwater beauty.
Day 14 – Departure
Depart with wonderful memories of an unforgettable journey through Egypt.
