By sailboat on the Nile, a unique experience at Rising Egypt

Discover all about our program "The peaceful Nile". In Wetteren we put together this unique trip for you. No big cruise at Rising Egypt, but an authentic trip with a Dahabiya sailboat.

Next trip: 15 to 24 March 2024: the magic of healing

This journey is a true "me-time" journey. A journey where going inward is very natural. Nature, the water, the sun and the fields, these are our setting for a few days.
We can absorb the ancient temples deeply. The rhythm of the boat is a relief for our cells, for our hearts. We experience that there is more in life.
The energies that carry us here, help us clear out what we no longer need and allow us to focus on the new. 'The magic of healing can start.'

We deepen our soul through a visit to the various initiation sites and force places that Egypt has. This spiritual journey focuses on resourcing, personal well-being and inspiration. But also a visit to the souks, a local coffee shop or a bike ride towards the Valley of the Kings are not missing!

What can you expect?

- With a sailboat on the Nile

We will embark on a "dahabiya," a sailboat, in which we will stay only with our own group. A friendly crew and delicious Egyptian food, make this place a real home away from home.

- Visiting ancient temples

In Luxor, we visit the temples of Karnak and Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, the Memnon statues and some lesser-known sites.

On the way, we visit the Esna temple. Afterwards, we sail to the beautiful temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. Then to the temple and tombs of El Selssila. Afterwards to Kom Ombo temple, the temple dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god and Horus. Arriving in Aswan, we visit the Philae temple.

All these temples are places of power and initiation. They speak deeply to us. Visiting the temples is always experienced as re-energizing and inspiring.

- Egyptological explanations

In all places, there are Egyptological explanations brought with passion by Younes Azzam our Egyptian guide. This is in English.

- Optional: a daytrip to Abu Simbel

On the last day, there is, for those who want it, a day trip to Abu Simbel. Did you know that in addition to this famous temple, there is also a temple to Nefertari, the royal wife of Ramses II?

- Meditation and yoga

On the boat, you relax naturally. We take time to really become a group. Regularly we come together and there is space to share what is going on inside us. What processes are we going through? How are we experiencing the force fields of ancient Egypt? At other times we take time to meditate. These meditations are accompanied by Pansori sounds sung by Veerle. These are the magical moments, among others, where deep healing can happen. This is why we named this trip: 'The magic of healing'. For enthusiasts, we start the day with yoga.
