Inner peace and harmony

In February 2018, I went for the first time to Luxor. It was a trip that had a profound impact. It was as if memories awoke of a life lived in deep inner peace, harmony and love. It was as if the ancient energies and force fields of Egypt were still alive and accessible to us.
Very quickly the idea was born to bring people back to Egypt in respect for the beauty, magic and power that is still there, with room for meditation and inner processes.
In Belgium, I work as an alternative therapist. It is my passion to bring peace into who you are. Not only in your mind, but also in your body. It is my power to heal what is hurt and to de-stress what is stressed. I also bring these qualities to our journeys.

Younes Azzam, our English speaking guide in Egypt

I grew up with an intuitive sense of ancient Egypt. This made me choose to start the studies for guide at the Luxor Egyptology institute and in 2015 I graduated as a tourguide. My hunger for knowledge remained and so I started the studies for Egyptologist. In December 2022, the time had come and I proudly received my master's degree in Egyptology. I would be happy to give you a taste of the atmosphere of ancient Egypt and provide extensive info on temples and tombs.

Our approach

A trip with Rising Egypt can be seen as a retreat, whether you travel in a group or alone. Deepening, re-energizing and personal well-being are always central.
Rising Egypt was born from the desire to bring people in touch with ancient Egypt, in deep respect for the beauty and power that is still there. No rush trips where you have at most half an hour per temple, but truly taking the time to experience ancient Egypt again. Our trips usually continue in small groups, between 5 and 10 people.

We visit the well-known top places, but also lesser known treasures are regularly visited. Besides our English-speaking Egyptian guide, there is also Dutch-speaking guide, which for many gives an extra nice feeling. We usually offer two group tours per year. The individual trips are together with Younes, our English speaking guide. From 5 persons or more I can accompany your trip myself.
