Your day by day program:
Day 1: Your tourguide will pick you up at the airport or at your hotel. Transfer to the estonishing oasis of Fayoum.
Once in Fayoum you will meet the bedouïn guide and take seat in the 4x4 car. You will spent the night in a tent or go to a tented camp with some more comfort. The Bedouïns will make a delicious dinner and desert tea.
Day 2: Today you will visit the valley of the Whales: Wadi Al-Hitan.
Whadi Al-Hitan is a unesco world heritage site where you find hundreds of vast and very ancient whale fossils as will as a nice small museum.
After the visit, move to the magical lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Egypt. It is named the Magical Lake because it changes color several times a day, depending on the time of year and the amount of sunlight it receives.
It is an incredibly beautiful place surrounded by desert and sand dunes. You can hike, climb the mountain Mudawara, sandboard and even swim in the lake.
Being around the lake gives you the chance to witness one of the most stunning sunsets you will ever see. You will spent the night beside the lake or in a camp really nearby.
Day 3: Enjoy the water fall and sail on the lake of Rayan with a small boat.
Visit the local handcrafted and famous pottery of Fayoum.
Return to your hotel in Cairo or to the airport.
