The pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx remain a breathtaking topper. You stay with a view over the pyramids and this is an experience that will stay with you for long. In addition to the pyramids of Giza, you will explore the less visited pyramid of Sakkara, the step pyramid of King Djoser and the many tombs of the ancient kingdom on the site.
- The new great Egypt museum in Giza, the GEM and the Museum of Civilization.
Be among the first to visit the new great Egypt museum. Explore the fascinating exhibitions that will teach you all about Egypt's past and admire the unique collection from every era of the country's history. Be sure to take a look at the treasures of Tutankhamun discovered in his tomb in Luxor, including his golden mask. At the Museum of Civilization, visit the royal mummies and their magnificent coffins.
- The ancient temples and tombs of Luxor.
Luxor has a treasure of magnificent temples and tombs. Go back in time and discover how the Egyptians worshipped their gods and buried their kings and nobles.
- Professional Egyptological explanation
At all sites there will be Egyptological explanations brought with passion by Younes Azzam in English.
The program day by day
Day 1: Arrival at Cairo Airport. You will be welcomed by your private guide and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Visit to the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara site.
Day 3: Exploration of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and/or the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Afterwards, transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight (approx. 1 hour) to Luxor.
Day 4: A relaxed start to the day. After lunch, visit the charming Luxor Museum and the Mummification Museum. Afterwards, take some time for souvenirs.
In the evening, you may optionally attend the sound and light show at Karnak Temple.
Day 5: Visit to the east bank of Luxor, including the impressive temples of Karnak and Luxor. The vast Karnak complex was expanded by many pharaohs over time.
Day 6: Discover the west bank of the Nile and travel back in time. You will visit the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.
