Let's take a look day by day:
Day 1: Arrival at Cairo airport. Meet your private tourguide and transfer to the hotel. All transportations are in an air-conditioned vehicle.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara.
Visit the ancient wonders on the plateau of Giza, the Great Sphinx, the Great Pyramids and the Valley Temple of Giza.
Visit the site of Saqqara with the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the oldest surviving colossal stone building in Egypt (2630 B.C.) and the many tombs on the site.
Enjoy the professional explanation from the tourguide and Egyptologist.
Day 3: Visit the new grand Egyptian Museum and the museum of civilisation.
Be among the first to visit the new grand Egyptian museum. Explore the fascinating exhibits that will teach you all about Egypt's past and admire the unique collection from every era of the country's history. Be sure to take a look at the treasures of Tutankhamun, discovered in his tomb in Luxor, including his golden mask.
At the Museum of Civilization, you will visit the royal mummies and their coffins in a brand new museum.
Day 4: Transfer to the beautiful oasis of Fayoum.
Once in Fayoum you will meet the Bedouin guide and take your place in the 4x4 car.
You will visit the Valley of the Whales: Wadi Al-Hitan.
Whadi Al-Hitan is a unesco world heritage site where you will find hundreds of very old whale fossils and a nice little museum.
After the visit you will go to the magical lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Egypt. It is called “the magic lake” because it changes its color several times a day, depending on the time of the year and the amount of sunlight it receives. It is a beautiful place surrounded by desert and sand dunes.
You can hike, climb Mount Mudawara, sandboard and even swim in the lake.
Both sunset and sunrise are breathtaking.
You will spend the night at the lake in a tent or at a tented camp nearby, which will offer a little more comfort. The Bedouins provide a delicious dinner and desert tea.
Day 5: Visit Lake Rayan and enjoy the waterfalls here. If you like you can take a small boat on the lake. Visit the handmade and famous pottery of Fayoum.
Transfer to Cairo airport in the evening and flight from about 1 hour to Luxor.
You will spent the night in a hotel in Luxor.
Day 6: Start the day at ease and visit after your lunch the Luxor museum and the museum of mummification. Take some time to go in the souks. If you like you can visit the sound and light show in Karnak temple in the evening..
Day 7: Visit the east bank of Luxor with the beautiful temples of Karnak and Luxor.
Day 8: A day on the west bank of the Nile.
Start the day early and enjoy the sunrise from a hot air balloon. Breathtaking to see the temple of Hatchepsut and Luxor city from the sky. After your early morning experience, you can have breakfast at the hotel. Then you will visit the west bank of the Nile and take a trip back in time. You will visit the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the majestic temple of queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memmnon.
Day 9: Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight back.
