My own testimonial.
Already from the preparations I felt it clearly. This trip I wanted to foresee even more time to absorb everything deeply. Our moto became: 'less is more'.
I opted for a full day Giza plateau and none of the participants regretted it! How wonderful to explore almost every corner of the plateau. Discovering unknown tombs and savoring somewhere in a quiet corner.
After Giza we headed for the Coptic monasteries. Due to circumstances it became only one monastery, and again we experienced "less is more.
The peace that surrounds entering Maxairia Monastery is beyond description. We stayed the night in the guesthouse. And honestly, when we had to leave, I was not ready. In this place with its peace and joyfull energy, I would easily want to stay a whole week.
And afterwards came experience after experience.Deeper and deeper "into the depth of our being", the theme of our jouney.
Grateful to each of the participants. Grateful to Younes' contribution. Grateful to spend two weeks in Egypt, the land near my heart.

Travelling with Rising Egypt is like travelling to heaven. It was such a special experience that started in the small pyramid in Gizeh where the universe offered us a moment just us, to sing like angels. And it went deeper and deeper. Veerle and Younes create a space in which we could grow so beautifully. With very special healings too. I am so grateful to have had this experience.

Wow what a trip! Put together by Rising Egypt based on the wishes that came to Veerle Wauters from all corners (including me). Passing with a small group the Giza pyramids, the city of Akhetaton/Amarna, the tombs and temples of Abydos, Dendera to Luxor. As icing on the cake, a private visit to the little-visited Osireion. This is how I joined Rising Egypt for the third time. Through the inspired guidance of Veerle and Younis, I was able this time to feel the power of ancient Egypt more fully, experience it and let its magic work through me. A wonderful talent to share the ancient wisdom of authentic Egypt and inspirations at just the right moments in the group or individually. Veerle also by voicing these. Younis appeared to be not only an Egyptologist and tour guide but also a simcard expert, DJ (in the car) and an oracle who really had an answer to every question (sometimes in the Egyptian way). As I experienced it, you stood by us 24/7 in the many processes we went through together. The safe environment you created in the small group opened the way for us to assist each other unconditionally. Nourishing, safe, singing, crying, laughing, transforming. A tribe. A coming home. The group enclosed in my heart.
